April 23, 2025: Bringing Back the News Feed

Many years ago I used to have a "proper" blog with a news feed and regular posts. I burnt out on maintaining that site and took a break from publishing online for several years. In the last few years, I decided to reinvent and rebuild the whole site from scratch, but it hasn't had a news feed.

I'd been focused entirely on exploring specific interests, like WebGL, or Max for Live, or Web Audio. This site has been a playground for me to try doing cool stuff with web technology and keep my skills up-to-date to support my career as a software engineer focused on Internet applications.

Now, I'm finding I want to write more about these topics, and many other topics, without having to fit into my established content mold of a "tutorial" or "code demo" or a piece of music or whatever. So: a news feed is back on my site, and I'm going to write whatever I want, whenever I want.

Maybe I won't post here often, and that's ok! My goal is to not burn myself out by pressuring myself to continually produce content when I don't want to. I'm not trying to prove anything to anyone anymore. This site is for me, and if other people find it interesting, that's cool.
